First Day at Work !!

Nov 1st'10, this was our first day at work in US and we were kind of anxious and excited to see how the day would go. We had to report to Gary from TBI (True Blue Inc.) at 9.30am. Our King cab picked us from the hotel (this is called punctuality), it was raining little hard and cold. Our Cab guy had some difficult in finding the office, finally we were taken in by Rory from TBI. The office had blue colored walls with a weird elevator to take us upstairs. After settling in at work, we checked out the cafeteria on 10th floor and it had great view of Mount Rainer and Port tacoma. Though it was gloomy and raining, i took the Fish and chips as lunch while Vijesh went for Grilled Chicken sandwich. People at this office had a casual approach and we saw their data center.

We were sleepy headed (due to the travel) and first day was more relaxing kind. We left office to pick up some grocery but the nearest one was 5kms away, we were given a Google map print out by one of the TBI employees and he was more than happy to help us. I somehow started loving Photography here, with lovely red, yellow maple trees playing a perfect snap to be taken. We got drenched and decided not to take the local bus but very happy to get dropped at Albertson's grocery mall by King cab. The mall was huge for grocery store and had fresh vegetables, all kinds of berries, meat fish u name it and its available here. We purchased a gallon of water/milk, few vegetables and the moment we reached hotel, we hit the bed to be woken up by a phone call after 2 hours. We made our first meal at the hotel room and packed the same for tomorrow's lunch.Our first day at work was relief for our tired souls.
