Nov 2nd - We had to report to work at 7am so we woke up at 5am and got our lunch packed, freshened up and had corn flakes as breakfast, as i mentioned earlier Punctuality is respected here and our Cab was on dot time. This time we took the I5 freeway to reach our office and yahoo!! We saved 5$ this route and faster ;). We kind of got settled at our new work place and the day went by smoothly at office, we left work early to roam round the streets of Tacoma.
I did a research on the net and found Freighter Square Tacoma is a place not be missed and comes in a must see list. We decided to walk to this place and enjoy the sunshine, it was around 16 Deg.We kept the museum visits for later since few of them were closed on Tuesdays, Washington State Museum and Tacoma Art Museum are worth visiting. These were walkable distance from our office which is located in Downtown Tacoma. Mount Rainer was shining in the glory and sticking out to enjoy the sun with snow peak looked beautiful to watch.
After walking close to 5kms and enjoying the different views on road, we finally reached Freighter Square (not many ppl know this place), its right besides Tacoma Station and when we entered this place was nothing but a sad looking jail kind of rooms with no one to give you info. We had a hearty laugh as we waited for our Cab sitting on the bench with cool breeze hitting us. Vijesh in particular enjoyed taking pics in front of Ford Mustang, the muscular mean machine.
It looked sexy and we finally hit room to sleep again for a couple of hours. Dinner this times was Dal rice and Cabbage (my cooking) and poor Vijesh had no other choice but to say Food was OK ;)

Though your visit to Freighter Square was not worth, at least you had good walking of 5kms and enjoying the different views on road besides burning your calories. All the best.
