Weekend @ DC

Work which was unfinished on Friday night,carried over to Saturday morning and it kept me busy till 1pm. We decided to See and Shop at the Walmart,after getting confused with the right direction and google map directions in our hand,we left room at around 2pm.We walked and walked,enjoyed the beautiful clean roads and lovely apartments, the scene was just a dream place to live in.We finally got confused and a lady taking her dog for walk was our savior and she correctly guided us to our destination. We crossed a beautiful lake with fountains of spring, met another walking couple who helped us reaching our destination. We reached the Fairfax shopping center and found a Pets Mart, a Pet hotel with Chihuahua dogs all around us, since it was a weekend hence people flocked with their pets.We ended up purchasing shoes from DSW which turned out to be a gr8 deal for both of us, i purchased my Merrel Trekking shoes while Vijesh got his Running shoes.

We finally reached Walmart and upon reaching we went to the Subway counter and gulped down our 8foot long sandwiches,i got mine made spicier. Walmart was huge and lot of articles on the shelf, from the beauty bars to grocery,Electronics to Clothing.We did our bit of shopping however we were a tag disappointed as we had come for the Chrono watches and didn't find them here.Afer calling the cab, we reached the hotel and hit the bed with tired legs after all close to 10km of walking.
